NITextile Participated in the Kozowood industries open day
NIT – NITextile was present at the open day promoted by Kōzōwood Industries, with the host and CEO Nuno Vale, in an event with the support of IAPMEI.
This event demonstrated the innovative capacity of Kōzōwood Industries in the sustainable industrialization of Woodframe and CLT (Cross Laminated Timer) wooden construction systems, as well as the full application of industry 4.0 in its process productive.
During the panel “Kozowood’s Commitment to ensuring Sustainability”, topics linked to forest management, the hidden potential that Portuguese forests still have to be explored were discussed, as well as innovation in cellulosic polymers and the environmental impact of these new sustainable solutions.
Having embraced innovation and approaching universities to develop its business, Kozowood is able to stand out in the market with differentiating products and a low environmental footprint, the necessary assets to face increasingly stringent legislation and targets at European level.
