Network of the i5.0 footwear project
NITextile actively participated in the networking event associated with the i5.0 project, an initiative catalyzed by CTCP – Centro Tecnológico do Calçado de Portugal, as part of the SHOE 5.0 project, a European project that aims to prepare the footwear industry in Europe for the challenging transition towards a sustainable industry, centered on people and characterized by business resilience.
The networking event was designed to promote high-level discussions on topics of great relevance today, including:
- People-centered approaches: Focus has been placed on nurturing talent, promoting diversity and empowering workers, which are crucial elements for the success of any enterprise.
- Business resilience: The development and implementation of new technologies and digital tools were explored, enabling companies to be agile and resilient in the face of a constantly evolving business environment.
- Sustainability: The transfer of knowledge to employees stood out, enabling them to lead significant actions in favor of sustainability and respect for ecosystems.
