NITextile Spin-off status of the University of Minho.
The University of Minho was the first University in Portugal to formalize the recognition of the innovative nature of the profile of entrepreneurs and the expected economic and social impact of companies created through the formal attribution of “Spin-off status”. These companies enjoy a close relationship with the University in terms of recognition, mentoring, access to infrastructure, access to technologies/know-how exclusively, support in the development of the business plan, management of industrial property and access to investment.
NITextile received Spin-off status from University of Minho, thereby valuing the knowledge resulting from its scientific and technological research activities of its founders Juliana Cruz and Pedro Gomes. This recognition represents the transfer of knowledge generated within the University of Minho, through the exercise of an economic activity with high growth potential at NITextile.
