Open House – The Advantages of a Fully Digital Production Process
Paragraph 1NITextile participated in the “Open House” event organized by Tajiservi October 19-21, where solutions were presented to aid production in the textile and footwear sector, with differentiating proposals in the most varied sectors.
Kornit Digital, a world leader in digital printing technology, presented a 360º Printing Solution, a complete proposal for digital printing: systems, inks, software, applications and technical support, for DTG and DTF printing and solutions for digital printing services that support web-to-print and make-to-order production models. With increasing focus on unique productions personalized to the taste of each client, where this becomes an integral part of the development of their garment.
Twine Solutions, with its ecological approach, presented the world’s first system for digital dyeing of threads and yarns (Twine TS-1800 and TwineX4), a method for dyeing polyester yarns. This technology aims to change the ancient paradigm of the traditional textile process with excessive consumption of resources. This waterless and sustainable dyeing solution drastically reduces production time and reduces inventory and waste, with an unlimited color variety, allows the dyeing of a few meters of yarn, on-demand sample production, reduced delivery time and greater efficiency, reduced waste and minimized costs. This innovation not only highlights the industry’s environmental commitment, but also represents a significant step towards more sustainable practices.
Tajima’s state-of-the-art embroidery machines and software and different product lines for applying special effects in clothing were also presented.
Laser cutting technology was also a highlight of the event. The precise and personalized cutting demonstrations made it clear how this technology is evolving in terms of incorporating “AI”, digital sensors, dimensional predictions, among others, into the textile process and adding value to the production of textile pieces, making them more sophisticated and adaptable to market needs.
